Well, that kind of depends on whether your reader uses a format that stores series info in metadata and then actually reads it. To my knowledge, the Kindle does neither. But you should be able to tell Calibre that you want it to name your book using series info. You can find that option in the saving preferences. (Sorry, I can't tell you exactly what it's called in english, I'm using the german translation...)
