The Catholic Church, through its official doctrine, is explicitly dogmatic, and some of the dogma are hard to digest outside the faith contest.
In synthesis the dogma are concerned with matters of faith and not the behavior. I post the

Science is not, without qualifications to the proposition, appears to me as an other dogmatic proposition, (or wishful thinking, being kenny devoid of an army or of a longa manus, long hand).
