I am glad to hear that because my DR1000 is now bricked with the software update... Sorry, I just posted this issue in another thread, but I couldn't help myself from replying to this post...

I tried to upgrade my DR1000S from the 1.7.1 firmware to the 2.0RC2 firmware. After the "updating firmware" screen, it seemed to attempt to reboot and I was greeted with 1) a blank screen 2) a green bottom middle LED and 3) a orange status LED.

I tried various forms of resets to no avail. I reverted the SD card to the old 1.7.1 firmware, nothing. *immediately* after turning on the device, I get the orange led and a blank screen and nothing else happens. It does not load the 1.7.1 firmware anymore, so I am effectively left with a brick.

I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue.
