I read anywhere from 2-6 at a time, but I wish I didn't. There's something about kicking around one author's view of the world and nothing else that deepens my understanding of whatever I'm reading. Unfortunately, that all goes out the window when I do more than 1 book at a time. Depth is sacrificed for the thrill of engaging my mind in the next interesting topic that crosses my path. : (
