The ads I've seen in Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, only bundle the standard cover. Not the lighted cover.
I've got both covers. For daily use/protection, I prefer the standard cover - I've got enough light at my home, and I prefer a table lamp to a book light anyway.
If I need a book light - usually when traveling - I have the Mighty Brite II. As a book light, it's much better than the one in the Sony cover, which I think is too dim. Besides, when traveling, I'm only going to take one cover anyway.
I do like the design of the Sony cover with light, I just don't like the dim light it puts out.
