Getting back to the subject title, The Pixel Qi screen should be not much, if any, more expensive than a regular LCD screen, at least according to what Ms. Jepsen has been saying in most of her videos. She claims that since the Pixel Qi can be made in the same fab as an LCD, using the same basic materials and mfg. tech., there should be very, very little price premium.
That makes the reported price premium for the Pixel Qi screened Adam, for example, very unwelcome. Either Mary Lou is wrong or the OEM's plan on making extra money as long as they can just because of the "wow" factor.
