I think it's got something to do with E Ink corp not supporting anything bigger than 9.7".
Once the other e-paper companies (Plastic Logic, LG, Bridgestone) get their manufacturing processes going we should see more products. Right now E Ink Co has a near monopoly on the consumer reader display tech and it's really not helping innovation.
