Well, I have had a similar line up over the years.
Amongst other things:
1. I started with a ZX81 and then went to the expanded memory and eventually got a external keyboard with real(ish) keys.
2. Vic-20
3. C64
4. Amiga
5. PC
Had a lot of gadgets over the years too, just like my tech I suppose.
I played adventures of one sort or another on all these machines at some point and remeber them fondly.
I was thinking of possibly writing some adventures myself. I always wondered just how popular they would be these days but this thread has shown they were and still are loved by many.
I taught myself programming over the last year and was looking at possible things to write. Unfortunately I can't write the stories, but my brother isn't too bad, if a little unreliable at actually finishing something (he has lots of half written books, music and poems).
I may have a go at an adventure if he is up for the challenge of actually finishing one of his stories
