Better resolution (1600x1200) and contrast. Monochrome is fine, if it means better viewability.
Faster. Not just "less geological", but actually fast. iPad fast.
Better reading software. Support good typography (both typesetting and screen rendering).
Good touch interface.
At least an attempt at ergonomic chassis design.
Decent web browser and WiFi

Plenty of other stuff would be nice, but these are where I hope for improvements.
