Good point.. the Reader is nice enough, and we have so much great content, that it would be nice to be able to use it "forever". Even if just for the nostalgic fun of it. AAA batteries would help that greatly. (But not enough to make me want to give up the existing design of rechargeable battery.) I just plan to only use it while plugged in once the battery goes dead and replacements are either unavailable or too expensive.
