Hello Kovid,
the current (beta) firmware 1.4 of my Onyx Boox supports .doc files.
the definitive version of the firmware will be (hopefully) released pretty soon.

Could you pls add this kind of files to the compatibility list of this device so that I can pass them to my Booxs? or can i do it in some way?
