I agree with boswd, the nook display is about the best I have seen, makes reading books easy (and is that not the point of a ebook reader)

The response time is very good and the nook just improves with each update. The fact it reads epub as well as B&N DRM epubs ..is a major selling point over the more limited and out of date Kindle. Only draw back I see is with the way it catalogues books, but rumours seem to indicate that might be fixed next firmware update. If not just root your nook and then it will have the best Catalogue system I have yet seen on a ebook reader.

If the only complaint people can come up with, is that it's a few grams more than a more limited less evolved reader, then that sounds like a good selling point to me
