Not really. I'm just always skeptical of companies with grand claims that haven't shipped real products. As I mentioned in another similar thread, the more hype I see without anything to back it up, the more suspicious I get.

It's nothing even against Notion Ink specifically, but anything related to "Pixel Qi" really sets off red flags for me. That particular technology almost has as much of a cult following as Apple. Except that unlike Apple, they have never produced anything.

I hope they're successful, but there have been tons of similar claims by tech companies in the past that never turned into anything concrete. I get excited about a product when I can read reviews and go buy it. The whole PR campaign that tells us how revolutionary something is going to be that doesn't actually exist yet, never really impresses me. Quite the opposite, usually.
