I think about this episode a lot when I'm in danger of being snowed under by details, dolts, or doldrums! I think I would have gotten off the train the first time it stopped there. So it's my mental "escape hatch". I just close my eyes and hear the conductor calling: "Willoughby! Next stop Willoughby!"
I'm hoping it just remains a mental escape for you, and never has to become a real one.
