OK.
I bought the Secure Microsoft format.
What #@#$% pain in the @#$% that was.
After purchasing it, I had to download the book using IE for Windows (I am Mac user).
So I try downloading the book again, and the ficitonwise.com said I couldn't even download it until I activated MS Reader.
So then I downloaded and activated MS Reader, which errored out about seven times, and I had to create a Passport ID just to complete activation.
So I did all that, and FINALLY was able to just download the @#$% book.
It downloaded fine, and I could read it in MS Reader.
Found the file, and downloaded the ConvertLIT GUI software.
When I ran the software it "exploded it" into HTML (I think - there are a bunch of HTML files in the conversion folder).
Two questions:
1. How do you not explode it and just remove the DRM as you suggested.
and
2. What is Book Designer?
