Hi all,

thanks for the wonderful, warm greeting(s).

I think there could well be an explosion of readers in Oz over the next 6 months, so fun times ahead!

Just briefly, I find technology and the relative cheapness of it to be remarkable.

About 15-20 years ago I bought a CD titled "Library of the Future" - it contained out of copyright fiction and non-fiction and a few other bits and pieces. The books were in text format. The intention was to read these on a computer - 14" crt monitor and all - using the reader which displayed in courier (such an unattractive font). Someone had a good idea then, but who could have predicted loading all that plus far more onto something as light and portable as a Kobo?

Cheers,

Michael P
