It appears my ticket got canned

I don't get a confirmation window when I delete items. Is there something I should tick? Clicking on a book if it's already highlighted with a bunch of other books doesn't just highlight the book you last clicked, it leaves all the items highlighted. I clicked a book and pressed delete - I didn't get a confirmation window and it deleted 20 books rather than the one book I'd just clicked!

All I can say is that the recycle bin in windows appears pointless until you need it.
