PRS-600 is all together a better device. It is also more expensive.
If you can afford it, get it.
If you can't, get the PRS-300. It's also great.
Side by side with the 300, the PRS-600's contrast problem is visible. In use by itself, it's great.
I love my PRS-600. It's not top heavy, one-handed use is pleasant.
