Then when you fill out the application the next 8 people won't talk to you until you've been accepted.

BUT

they won't process the application w/o your transcripts. Go and get your transcripts, right? NO. Fill out an application to request your transcripts and sometime before retirement at your dead-end job they will call you and tell you they are ready. That doesn't include paying $5 per copy at the other school you went to.

And this is allllllllll before financial aid, folks. I really thought about just saying piss on school and keeping my dead-end job. Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AH! I lived that two years ago! I went through a dozen of hoops, passed exams, found old grade reports of another uni I went to, and even from high school, then was told to wait. A week before school was scheduled to start I still had had no news. I took a day off, went to my old college to get my grade report from there - it was not required, but at this point I would've given them my bank statements - then brought the document to the uni I wanted to go to, where I was told that I was already accepted and I need to show up to a preparation reunion the following day I actually received the letter annoucing my acceptation A WHOLE MONTH after the semester started

Anywho, don't despair, you'll be glad you took the plunge! Courage!
