Oh,well, in that case, okay...I suppose. You've got to admit, above 15k feet on a mountain is an unusually demanding environment for any type of device, let alone tech gear. Albeit the Nook is a lot less complex than the iPad, I think -both being solid state devices - it will suffer the same problems as the iPad in extreme environments.
