Oh, no, you need the squid. The squid is the only certainty, in any story we're part of, fixing us to this page as the ink dries. Without the squid, you'd still be running from...something...best not talked about...in those caves.

Ask pshrynk. He knows (though he sometimes forgets, what with all the Tuesday fortnight remembering he does).

Incidentally, your moulting will occur in about 3.5minutes and that carapace will just slide off and leave you back your normal, squishy, endoskeletal self (there's a set of clothes over there on the chair).
