Another option is convert your ePubs to Mobi.
That is what I have done. Up till now ePub is a very unstable format. That is, the format is ok but the implementations ar flaky.
You can see it in a program like Calibre. There you can create ePub output for different readers. That should not be necccessary. On other fora there are recommendations to rebuild a book for your reader if it looks bad. Nice if you only have one type of reader, bad if you have more than one.
They look different on different readers. My wife has a Bebook and I have a Cybook. More often than not books look completely different on both readers. Good on one and bad on the other. Or bad on both and good on my laptop. Or any possible permutation.
After going (back) to Mobi all problems were gone
