Actually, here in the barn, flies and wasps are part of the ambiance. We have these wonderful devices called "uplights" to shine on the vaulted ceiling. They're amazing at collecting the remains of fried flies. It's too bad that they are so high up on the wall that we can't reach them. One of these days they'll just start to overflow, if the bulb doesn't burn out first. It's actually too bad that the bulbs aren't hot enough to completely vaporize them on contact! It's one of those design flaws that you don't realize until it's too late.
