Someone created a tool that you can use to (temporarily) fix your ePubs for the Kobo. It parses the CSS and removes the font-size: lines causing problems (or you can set it to delete the css entirely).

Break my heart, it's a Windows program.

I'm middle-of-the-road in computer-savviness, so when I get home from work tonight I'm going to attempt the css fix (likely with limited success, as I have to FIND the css file first). I was devastated last night to find that my first KoboBook (straight from the Kobo site) is stuck at a completely unreadable font size.

Would my method of uploading the ebook to my Kobo have anything to do with the font size issues? Someone said when they synced it with the Kobo platform, the issue was fixed... I think I used ADE to upload it. I'll try syncing it with the Kobo platform as well.

So, detailed updates on a noob attempting to fix this issue to come, just in case there are any other questionably tech-savvy Kobo owners struggling with the same issue, and I manage through much trial and error to pull this off. ^^ (You're all very helpful, but "Just delete the CSS file" optimistically assumes that one would know where to FIND the css file. It'll take some searching to even figure out where my ebooks are stored on my mac. Tragic, right?)
