Here we get few flies, I suspect due to the profusion of geckos, spiders, wasps, hornets, et cetera. Same with mosquitoes. Also, the two storey atrium/entry seems to act as an upsidedown pitcher plant - they fly in low, zoom up towards the light of the windows on three sides, and then beat themsleves to death on the panes.
