spent the last 4 hours working on the sprinkler system. Dug out several sprinkler heads in anticipation of having to replace them. Went to the hardware store and spent $80 on several new sprinkler heads, adapters, connectors, etc. including a new American Flag to replace the ragged one. ended up capping one of the sprinklers to be replaced and then it was just a matter of fixing/cleaning/adjusting the impulse sprinklers in that zone. Other zones, fixed one broken line cleaned, oiled (wd40 is your friend) and adjusted. I'm running through a full cycle now to test...
Have not cleaned the flower beds, weeds, grass, a mess....I did buy a new hoe at the hardware store though.
