I understand your point although "...on holiday..." is still overly broad and many airlines, at least in North America, are already providing in-flight wifi... and yes, Airvideo doesn't have its own internal code for rendering videos but hooks into the native video player... Bottom line for me is it fulfills all my video needs including anything I left behind at home and didn't pre-convert in whatever format... Works for me.
