I have 3 ereaders (iLiad, Sony 505 & Kindle 2i) & now an iPad as well. I'm still using my ereaders for reading novels & I am using my iPad for reading digital magazines, blogs & web browsing, Twitter, email, managing contacts & calendar, games, note taking, photo viewing, video podcast watching, tv show watching, etc. I will also use the iPad for viewing colour PDFs (computer proframming text books). So I see the iPad as an all-round Internet & multimedia device, but still have a need for my Kindle as well (don't see a need to have 3 e-readers, but hey).
BTW, dual boot screens have been prototyped. They can boot to either LCD or e-ink. I think that we are likely to see them in future ereaders & tablet computers.
