Do the people who use Ubuntu (and Calibre) also update?

Btw: all of a sudden, my main window of Calibre is too big.. and I can't get it any smaller, like you normally can with windows.. (resize).

Does anyone know what would be the problem (I'm using the latest version of Ubuntu).

Edit: I can resize it, but only vertically, not horizontally..
