Thanks, my dear *mwah!* I appreciate the encouragement. I've been feeling a little blah about my writing lately - and knowing that this always happens to me when I release a new book hasn't been helping much!
I think the fight is sometimes against the taught desire to fit in and be liked and approved of. I probably have less (not none!) of that because my parents were in some ways staunch nonconformists. I didn't realise till I was in my 20s that most women my age were brought up completely differently...

How are you feeling? You seem more cheerful, but I thought you might just be putting up a good front to avoid upsetting folks...
