I look forward to seeing your thoughts and experiences during the transition. That _was_ pretty close to what happened to me, too. When I first got the ipaq, I still used the clie occassionaly, but it has since fallen by the wayside. I keep it charged and synced, and keep it in my bag as a backup device.
The one time I needed it when I blew up my ipaq with a static discharge (lucky it was still on warranty) I was _lost_, even though I still had the palm. It made me realise I won't ever be going back to palm... I have too much time and software/money invested in Windows Mobile, and can do so much more.
Would you like me to post what I have installed on my ppc? It's a _long_ list, but interesting.
