Hi all,
Been wanting a reader for some time, finally bit the bullet when Woot had the Sony Pocket for $109 a couple weeks ago. Downloaded a bunch of classics from feedbooks.com, bought a couple new things from the sony store. Unlike a bunch of folks on the Sony forum, I've had absolutely no problems at all, everything loaded beautifully, easily organized into collections using sony software, even uploaded a few of my own stories using Calibre, and I am HOOKED. I love this thing; I'm pretty obsessive about reading, and (used to) carry at least a couple of books literally everywhere, this is so much better.

Several of the folks I've shown it to whined "I just like to have a book in my hands." People, I've got 1200+ books, I don't need anymore paper objects to store. I bunch of the classics are things I really wanted, but really didn't want to pay money for or have take up my limited space (complete Dickens, Shakespeare, Austen). Now I've got them, anytime I want, literally in my pocket.

My wife was a doubter too, now that she's tried mine, she wants one of her own (maybe her birthday or christmas).

I've been lurking for a while, got some great tips.
