These two would never be approved by the FDA/EMEA today.
As for the drugs, I would cite pshrynk's post, there isn't much to add to it.
But the truth is, *you* are not the statistic average person (very few are). Which means, the drug X is indicated for the treatment of Y, cause (just an example) 95% of people response to it. But no one can guarantee an effect. I hope your next therapist gets you the right meds. I might be a good idea to get your medical history from the old one, so the new can avoid the failed drugs.
Is there no way to order the FDA-not-approved stuff from the internet? I have heard that is being practiced here, when a drug is only available abroad.
