I'm sure pshrynk can tell you a helluva lot more than I can about these things, but I do know this - side-effects are widespread and often difficult to predict.

Regardless, he sounds like the sort of medical professional who will do what HE thinks is best, without consulting you, because how could you know anything that would help? I generally dislike that type with a passion, and will go to them only if absolutely desperate.

Do you keep any sort of diary of the various meds and their side-effects?
