It's well-worth the price, although I wish it was cheaper. It probably works best in paperback, since there are a number of self-discovery quizzes inside, but it would also be satisfactory for your Sony. That's how I'm reading it, although I wish I'd bought it for the Kindle, as the note-taking process, IMHO, is a bit better on the Kindle. Sony truncates the notes when you import them into the Library on your PC.

You wouldn't know a work-around for that, would you?
