i was reading and gathering infos here for quite a long time and now bought myself a bebook mini (hanlin v5)
I've kept an layman's eye on the technical development since I first heard of the existence of e-ink display prototypes, just because from my point of view a device really deserving the name of an "e-
book reader" is in the same way a fulfillment of dreams of a bibliophile (more commonly called a bookworm, what I proudly am) as portable audioplayers are for the audiophiles among us.
but instead of banthering here about well known facts I'll finish this part of the posting with stating how incredibely happy I am with the device and spent the rest of it on a big

to everybody
- contributed to the reader matrix making it a great decision helper.
- keeping an eye on the different firmware developments, and thus allowing to scueeze the most of the device.
- offering help with ebook formats and providing us with software which gets better and better each day.
- putting their huge ammounts of work into creating ebooks from liberated books and etexts spread all over the net.
