Ok, so I looked at the properties. The file is under my name (what I titled it). But not only is Michele L the title (and wtf, I look like an ass if it opens up on my potential employer's desktop like it just opened on mine with "Michele L " on it!!!), but the author is Tom Liberty! seriously, people! WTF??
Now I'm wondering what it looks like on other people's computers... on my other computer, I didn't see hide nor hair of these insiduous names. It only showed up when I uploaded it to my reader, and now it shows it on the blue bar on the top of the pdf (not the actual document).
it's time like this that I wish I weren't such a technoidiot.
