While Astak firmware is not the same as lBook they do have a lot in common and both use CoolReader for some file formats and both use ADE reader. The differences are primarily in the latest version of which products and the user interface when working with the bookshelf.

The Buggins betas are beyond both the current released lBook firmware and the current released Astak firmware.
