eInk bunch is usually very peaceful. LCD camp on the other hand behaves irrationally. Every time eInk fan says: a gadget with LCD screen cannot be considered an ebook reader by me, LCD crowd howls and screams LCD discrimination!
Experience or opinion? I say opinion. Honestly though, villifying the LCD folks like we are the only ones who are passionate about our chosen path is silly. I've seen just as many eInk people respond in rude and blanket statements that many of us LCD people don't agree with. I guess you missed the post I responded to? Wasn't that before mine?

Do you really think thats how eInk fans always respond? Come on, you have been around here long enough to know that isn't true. I commend you on your responses to LCD fans but you are one of the few who respond like this. I've seen overall rude statemens, arguments over eye strain studies, and statements of falsehood in reply to LCD posts. I usually just don't respond to them, as you can see if you read any of my posts in the past, I rarely get involved, but claiming all of us LCD folks are a bunch of whiners doesn't sit well either.

See the difference?
I certainly wouldn't post something like that, especially when I know the answer already. eInk has its place with folks that like dedicated readers and long battery life. People who like to sit outside and read in full sunlight. I'm sure there are some folks who like LCD who feel this is a measure of payback for ignoring the possibilities and promoting mostly eInk on this site for years. Some eInk fans feel especially threatened by the emerging LCD tablets.

Before you posted about my comments, did you bother to read the post I responded to?

Then LCD-pro camp must be ready for people for whom eInk is the only way to read ebooks will completely dismiss iPad as ebook reader.
That was the inflaming statement, but I'm sure you don't see it that way. Come on. Be fair about it.
