you are quite right! when Strider gets rambunctious his ears go all Delta V. they are always big and Yoda like but not as noticeable as some of the more pure cats. Arwen is going to have the whole ear thing as well as the white spots on the back

and wolf hybrids are totally scary and I personally would never own one
