Statements like this are problematic to say the least.

As I stated a few posts back my PRS-505 does not fade at all. I covered half of my device and made several page changes, then removed the cover and both halves of the screen were identical. I'm not sure why you would assume they all fade to some extent but my device proves your generalization wrong.
