Unless we are going to restrict the book club choices by price/geo restriction etc etc, I think we are always going to struggle to get books that are available everywhere to all the MR members - it's just the nature of the beast that we all discuss at length in other threads. I guess that's a decision for the originators of the Book Club.

True, and I don't really mind if the voted book is not available in Australia... Most members are from USA, I believe.
But I see that
Thirty-Nine Steps has caught up with
Shutter Island, so there's hope for me, yet...
