I got mine off of ebay just a week ago (well I won the auction farther back but just received it last week) and I got it for $175 US ($202 if you include shipping and conversion to Canadian). Another auction ended a couple hours after with a similar price, so I figure around $200 sounds reasonable. I've seen it go upwards to $270, but there are indeed cheaper ones around.
The 505 does support epub.
