I agree with boswd, the nook already has better contrast than just about any other reader ( well all the ones I have seen) and the speed of the page change is as good as the top selling brands at the moment.

The PRS 600 is a real pain to try and read from after you have used a nook, on the other hand the prs 600 feels more robust, but I feel reading is the most important thing here.

Remember B&N have the nook2 coming out before Xmas and I would bet in two to three years when the colour screen hit the market there will be a "nook colour" version.
