actully those two features brings nothing new to the table. Contrast by and large is fantastic, especially on the Nook,
How much faster can you really make the e-ink as compared to now where all of a sudden the whole e-reading world is going to stand up and shout "WOW". The only people who truly complain about the speed of e-ink are the ones who would rather buy an iPad anyway.
Until touch screen color e-ink comes out, everythingelse is re-inventing the wheel and does nothing to say " I've got's to get me one of those". And certainly won't make the Nook obsolete.
