I run around the house, down the first lawn, look down the second lawn. Then go into the small buildings, the atelier. Nothing. Then from the windows of the veranda, besides the second lawn, I see a blond head playing quietly with her excavator in my lettuce bed. I cry she is here. Me and W embrace, trembling. LD looks up at us. I grab her excavator from her hands, she starts crying. W picks her up and the three of us come back toward the house. I feel like I aged 20 years in 5 minutes.

I will not tell the kind of thoughts I fought back when I was looking for LD.
EEP!! Scary, huh? I'm glad you found her safe and sound and on the property

Last time our 3yo 'disappeared', we found him in the unlikeliest place - in bed, asleep! Now come on, who'd think to look THERE?
