I've been trying to determine which of the Discworld novels I read. I took out all those I could find on my bookshelves and added them to my library on Librarything, but there are still holes. I started reading Pratchett at a time I was traveling a lot, and I tended to leave books in hotels or airports after I had finished them to avoid too much clutter at home. There are several that I'm pretty sure I read, but don't seem to have any longer.

Anyway, it does look like I never read the first one, The Colour of Magic. Hmmmm...

The first one is one of his best - comedy wise.
Plus - it never hurts to re-read Pratchett - his characters keep popping up in different books - and it's fun to find them out of their "proper" sub-series.
