Our non-fiction selection having to do with self-help/how-to type literature (and travel guides) is huge, and our fiction selection doesn't seem to grow as much. The audiobook selection is the one that gets all the bestsellers. Frustrating I don't like audiobooks. it warps the book, giving me voices for the characters.
I think those ebooks are either free or extremely cheap to the library. My local library *only* has those type of books available as ebooks. Not a single fiction ebook. They have a good selection of audiobooks, but I have no interest in them.
