I've had them most if my life. So's Mother (hers eased off with some blood pressure control). Although I've never had too many identifiable "triggers", I've started, in the last couple of years, to get some (too much chocolate, for one, though that rarely stops me).

JSWolf (Jon) recently elsewhere mentioned identification of a large calcium lump (?) in his head, I think associated with them? Someone else elsewhere mentioned a neck problem that caused pain sometimes misdiagnosed as migraine. There are other things too. Although my history and family background identifies mine as migraine, I can see ready cause for establishing that with certainty.

Right now I'm going to shower and then go for a walk down to the beach for a latte (a sometimes cure) and a chocolate-related treat (a sometimes cause).
