I don't think Charlie Brooker's ever done a balanced review of an Apple product in his entire career; he probably keeps the teenagers with long lists of computer components in their forum signatures amused (see the follow-on comments after the piece) at least until their mum calls them down for their tea - or perhaps he just 'knows' his audience?

Still, at least he puts the weight he moans about [feel free to insert your own pithy comment about weak-wristed journalists here] into context - roughly the same size and weight (but not thickness, obviously...) as a hardback; look what a dog that format turned out to be.
